Guidelines are provided for teacher-librarians organizing bilingual school resource centers at British Columbia schools with French immersion programs. The guidelines address (1) the handling of French language materials within the collection; (2) selection and acquisition; (3) selection of vertical file materials; (4) budgeting, cataloguing, and filing; (5) terminology; and (6) aspects of the Resource Center Program. The appendices include bibliographies of selection and ordering tools and research and study skill materials, translations of cataloguing terms, addresses of resources and publishers, and samples of ordering letters, catalogue cards, and cross reference cards.
