This training package consists of materials for use in training industrial arts students in the proper use and care of basic precision measuring instruments used in the machine trades. Outlined first are the basic objectives of the training program. The second part of the package includes task analyses for each of the measuring instruments. Two tests for use in assessing students' pre-training and post-training knowledge and skills are also included. The remainder of the package consists of a series of instructional handouts and transparencies that have been developed to assist instructors' presentations and demonstrations. (MN)
