Prepared by teachers, school librarians, and subject authorities, this bibliography is the second supplement to an earlier publication. It includes materials for the teaching of Iowa history, tradition, and literature in elementary and secondary schools. Divided into two sections, the first lists materials on Iowa history according to Dewey classification. Entries include author, title, bibliographic information, interest and reading levels, availability, cataloging information, and an annotation. Section two lists works by Iowa authors, not necessarily about Iowa, which contribute to the study of Iowa literature. These entries are alphabetic by author and include title, bibliographic information, Dewey classification number, dates of author's birth and death, reading and interest levels, availability, and an annotation. Out-of-print materials judged to be of sufficient interest are included in both sections. Author, title, and subject indexes are also provided, as is a directory of publishers. (ESR)
