The booklet begins with some basic information about juvenile crime and the juvenile justice system, followed by answers to some frequently asked questions. Included is a list of resource organizations and agencies that can help the reader find answers to other questions as well as a suggested reading list. A chart of the juvenile justice system in 1979 helps to clarify the process from intake to case disposition in graphic format. A glossary of frequently used words also is provided in the booklet.
