Specific Appropriate Technology Techniques section gives descriptions of techniques/information on how devices are constructed, used, and/or maintained. This section is divided into four subsections addressing: (1) general techniques, covering compilations of various AT techniques; (2) agriculture and food, ranging from descriptions of farming devices/techniques to food processing, preservation, and storage; (3) composite techniques, focusing on AT applications in communication, energy, health; and (4) water supply/sanitation techniques, including technical/non-technical descriptions of the design/construction of many types of water supply and sanitary facilities at community-wide and household levels. Continuing Sources of Information are provided in the next section. These include both publications (newsletters, journals, directories) and organizations focusing on appropriate technology. Each entry includes complete title, author(s), source, and annotation. Listed in the final section are 15 documents without annotations.
