Resources Supporting Scientific Activities at Predominantly Black Colleges and Universities. A Special Report.
Berry, Richard M.; Thompson, Melvin
This report presents information on the overall levels of Federal funding to 105 predominantly Black colleges and universities, with particular emphasis on their scientific and engineering activities. The first part of the report covers general funding trends from fiscal year 1973 to fiscal year 1980, and presents information about the number of graduate students and full-time faculty in science and engineering programs at those institutions. The second part consists of individual institutional profiles of Federal funding at each of the institutions, along with information about their scientific personnel by field, degree, and sex.
