This teacher's guide contains computer programs, written in BASIC, for use in Iowa secondary school industrial arts programs. The programs were developed in two 2-week workshops by industrial arts teachers who had little or no previous experience with computers; the programs have been classroom tested and refined for publication. The programs are intended to assist teachers in initiating computer learning activities and computer-assisted classroom/laboratory management. Programs cover the following topics: general (mathematics and measurement drills), construction, energy and power, graphic communication, manufacturing, and instructional management. Each program contains an introduction which explains the use of the program, and the name and address of the program author. (KC)
