This report provides information on the characteristics and progress of the Teacher Corps '79 project activities conducted by the University of Arkansas in the Pine Bluff School District. Progress is noted in the areas of: (1) master's degrees for Teacher Corps interns in elementary and secondary education; (2) intern courses completed in educational psychology; (3) interns' community and school experiences; (4) inservice workshops on improving school climate; (5) inservice training activities in multicultural education; (6) community-based education programs; (7) citizen involvement and participation; (8) community organization and development; (9) community-based training for interns; (10) parental involvement in community-based education Teacher Corps activities; and (11) community council training programs.
