As in Volume 1, "Women's Education--A World View: Annotated Bibliography of Doctoral Dissertations" (1979), Volume 2 includes all available entries in English on several aspects of girls' and women's education worldwide. Volume 2 lists and summarizes nearly 4,000 reports, monographs, and books. Entries are listed according to author and cover such areas as: feminism, the feminist movement, women's studies, business education, health occupations, homemaking, and motherhood. Complete annotated information is provided for each entry: bibliographic data, analytical summaries, and background information. A detailed index with extensive subtitles and cross-references simplifies locating data on specific topics. Data were gathered from computer searches of major data bases and visual searches of the ERIC system (Educational Resources Information Center), using the monthly publication "Resources in Education."
