Written in Spanish, this booklet contains information on three events occurring in the month of December: winter, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. Winter is briefly discussed. Recipes are given for making bienmesabe, pan de nueces y pina, cazuela, flan de batata, flan de leche evaporada, pinon de platanos maduro, pastel de yuca, and pasteles. The section on New Year's Eve includes a short story ("Que se va Ano Viejo, que se va!") and a poem ("El Bindis del Bohemio").
