This document reviews one year of the Radio Mathematics Project (RMP), seen as a promising medium of instruction within the developing world. The major intent of this report is to share information early in the life of the project with those interested in educational development. The work of Stanford University and the Nicaraguan Ministry of Public Education as reported constitutes one of the Agency for International Development's (AID's) largest research projects in education.
