This publication is a directory of cooperative programs involving community colleges and business and industry. Seventeen community colleges or college districts are represented in the directory, which describes projects that the colleges have conducted to promote cooperation with the business community. Names, addresses, and telephone numbers of contact persons for each project are provided. The information is shared so that other colleges can benefit from the successful experiences of the member colleges. Some programs described include projects to release instructors full-time for a quarter or semester to work in industry, a small business management curriculum developed by a community businessman and offered through a college, Spanish-language classes conducted for a company's employees at their plant by college faculty, and apprentice refresher courses.
