This document opens with an editorial comment on two analogical models for mathematics education research. Analyses and abstracts of twelve research reports related to mathematics education follow. Four of the reports deal with aspects of learning theory, two with sex differences, and one each with achievement grouping, drill and practice, elementary teacher education, modes of instruction for measurement, teacher behavior influence on achievement, and women in education. Research related to mathematics education which was reported in CIJE and RIE between January and March 1981 is listed. (MP)
