Part III, "News Service Operation: Print Emphasis," contains twelve papers discussing such areas as feature writing, science writing, media technology, computerizing the news, preparing releases for optical character reading, typesetting, and news photos. The final section, "News Section Operation: Radio-TV," includes fourteen papers on areas such as basic broadcasting facts, radio coverage, radio news, television news, news clips, cable TV, and the electronic era in news service.
