The validation report of the on-site visitation team to Weber State College (Ogden, Utah) is reproduced in its entirety. The procedures used by team members to validate and interpret the institutional self-study report were individual interviews with faculty members and students, group interviews, a study of selected documents, and observation of selected learning activities such as classes, tutorials, and interaction seminars. The interviews and observations were used to get a wide variety of facts, attitudes, and judgments about the teacher education program. This report presents commendations and recommendations for the organization and administration of the program, early childhood and elementary education programs, and the secondary education program's professional component.
