A history of the University of Kentucky Community College System (UKCCS) precedes this analysis of data on UKCCS enrollment, instructional programs, financial support, and student characteristics. Section I discusses Fall 1980 headcount enrollments for each of the 14 UKCCS campuses in terms of distribution by class, sex, and residence. Enrollment trends are also considered with regard to Fall headcount and full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments for 1964 and 1971 through 1980 and with respect to first-time freshman FTE and headcount enrollments for 1969 to 1980. Section II discusses: (1) Fall 1980 headcount enrollment of full- and part-time students by degree level (baccalaureate, applied science, or non-degree); (2) Fall 1979 and 1980 headcount enrollments by degree level; (3) degree level enrollment by sex; (4) credit hours offered by degree and course levels; (5) FTE enrollment by degree and course levels; (6) number of graduates by degree level, technical program, and college; (7) UKCCS library holdings; (8) highest degree attained by faculty; and (9) staff and faculty development activities. Section III presents an analysis of the financial support base of UKCCS, discussing general fund expenditures by function, expenditures from recurring general funds, and general funds budgeted by function. Section IV discusses the standardized test scores, income, ethnic status, and age of Fall 1980 first-time freshmen. The report provides data on 34 tables. (AYC)
