The following areas are covered: general appearance (body cleanliness/grooming, clothing cleanliness, appropriate clothing); communication skills (yes/no concept, appropriate responses to specific situations, providing basic personal information); functional academic skills and understanding (reads time, identifies days of the week and month of the year, counting, math, money skills, writing skills, functional vocational/safety words, identifies shapes and colors, telephone skills); physical skills (gross motor skills); fine motor/job skills (fine motor activities, job skills); self help skills (dressing, grooming, toilet care, feeds self, operates food vending machines); social skills (initiates conversation, responds to conversation, laughs appropriately, specific behaviors, relationships); and community mobility skills (crossing a street at a signal crossing, crossing a street without any signal, walking on a sidewalk, using an elevator).
