The final of three volumes on Project PRISM, a program to help middle school teachers meet the needs of gifted and talented children in their classes without removing them from the mainstream, lists resources on the education of gifted and talented children. Materials are organized according to four basic types: books, periodicals, curriculum aids and games, and microfiche. Each type is subdivided by topics and alphabetically arranged within the topic according to author (for books and microfiche) or title (for periodicals and games/curriculum aids). Listings briefly describe the material and include date and grade level information. Topics covered include general information, identification/testing, program development and evaluation, creativity and problem solving, guidance and career education, parents, teacher training, early childhood and gifted, community involvement, and curriculum (including art, math, science, and language arts).
