A Training Package for Implementing the IEP Process in Wyoming. Volume II. Handouts and Transparencies.

Volume II contains handouts and transparencies for use with the trainers' guide, a manual for administrators, assessment personnel, and others involved in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for handicapped children in Wyoming. The instructional materials are organized by module subtopics (except for IEP implementation which is contained totally in Volume III). The following is a list of the modules with sample transparency and handout topics in parentheses: preliminary steps (radio and television announcement, a referral form, and guidelines for structuring committee meetings); screening (steps to be followed in implementing a district screening program); multidisciplinary assessment (evaluation procedures and bibliography of language dominance measures); determination of eligibility (eligibility report form and placement procedures); IEP development (sample annual goal statements); and IEP review procedures (parent notification forms and procedures for comprehensive reassessment of students receiving special education services).
