Central Arizona College Master Plan for 1980-1985.
Central Arizona Coll., Coolidge.
College-wide and departmental goals are outlined for 1980 through 1985 in this master plan for Central Arizona College (CAC). The plan first presents CAC's institutional philosophy and then outlines 40 college-wide goals in terms of service objectives and desired outcomes. Population projections through 1985 for CAC's service district are followed by an examination of projected enrollments and staffing requirements for the same period. After discussions of the degree to which CAC's occupational programs meet area training needs, of CAC's commitment to a comprehensive curriculum, and of the responsibilities of faculty and students in fulfilling CAC's educational role, the master plan outlines the 1980-81 goals for the campus dean, associate dean of instruction, and dean of continuing education and community services. The report then identifies program objectives and anticipated staffing and facility requirements for: business education; communications; creative arts; health education; science/mathematics; social/behavioral sciences; vocational technology; the learning resource center; admissions and recruitment; counseling; financial aid; food service; housing; the Personalized Education Program; student employment, activities, and health services; veterans' affairs; and women's programs. Finally, community service goals are outlined, and expectations in the areas of personnel management, facilities, and financial planning are discussed. (JP)
