Section two includes teaching strategies and styles, reading strategies, strategies for laboratory activities, and strategies generally encompassing most aspects of science classroom instruction. Section three includes the nature and use of invitations to inquiry, causal factors in biology, quantitative relationships in biology, the concept of function in biology, and the concept of the self regulating organism. Section four discusses contemporary issues controlling the biology teacher and includes such topics as careers in science, sex education, and evolution.
