These profiles of 28 depositories and government documents libraries in the state of Alabama itemize official depository status, subject concentration, and location of the documents within the library for each institution. The profiles also explain the organization and classification scheme of the document collection, circulation parameters, and general policies regarding use of the documents. Duplication facilities, interlibrary loan restrictions, and personnel servicing these collections are also included as an aid to the patron in search of government documents.
