This resource book, which provides a sampling of programs developed by the Youth Advocacy Projects of the Teacher Corps on behalf of troubled youth, is organized ln tbree major sections. Section I presents outlines, resources, and critiques of staff development courses, organized according to target youth group(s) and by subject area. Section II describes model interventions in process at each project, grouped according to their focus on: (1) inservice/staff development; (2) program development that directly affects troubled youth; and (3) community involvement. Section III presents case studies of four model programs with descriptions of their setting, intervention strategies, and evaluations of overall program effectiveness. (Author/HLM)
