Educational Accountability and the Development of Positive Communication Techniques: The Match Between Cooperating Teacher and Student Teacher.

The document focuses on the impact of the cooperating teacher on the attitudes and behavior of the student special education teacher. The authors discuss the effects of cooperating teacher's teaching style and age on the attitudes and behavior of the students. The impact of the cooperating teacher on the student teacher's attitudes and behavior is stressed. Guidelines for the cooperating teacher to follow in enhancing the possibility of the student teacher's progress are given. (SBH)
