The purpose of undertaking an administrative internship in the state of Indiana is to satisfy certification requirements for obtaining a superintendent's license. This paper discusses the one-year internship program in Indiana, beginning with a review of the month-by-month timeline of internship activities. Next, the paper lists 20 suggested activities for a superintendent intern to undertake. Also discussed are visits to administrative departments in other schools.
