Presented is a method for individualizing mathematics which utilizes the "Learning Activities Package" (LAP). LAP is a self-contained unit based on specific behavioral objectives which contains a pretest, a posttest, examples, explanations, and activities. The topics covered include but are not limited to: multiplication and division by powers of ten, squaring a number, binary numeration, using proportion to solve percent problems, simple interest, deposit slips and checks, how to read your electric meter and check your electric bill, and solving simple equations.
