Munson, Harold L.; Miller, John K.
A final report details 10 objectives in a study of mainstreaming secondary level deaf students in occupational education programs. Sections present instrumentation and procedures used in gathering data for each of the following 10 objectives: (1) philosophical views of the programs; (2) profile of the student population; (3) evaluation practices; (4) instructional strategies and methods; (5) articulation and communication; (6) knowledge and attitudes of school personnel toward deafness; (7) social interaction and friendship patterns among the target population; (8) placement practices; (9) followup of program graduates; and (10) reaction, opinions, and experiences of deaf students and their parents participating in the programs. Much of the document consists of appendices such as various interview protocols and schedules for the different objectives, as well as student forms and record sheets. (PHR)
