The document reports on the Macomb 0-3 Regional Project which designed and implemented a model program of early identification and education/remediation for handicapped, high risk, and/or developmentally delayed infants, ages 0 to 3, and their parents who reside in rural areas. Initial sections address the following program components: direct and supplementary services for children, parent/family participation, child evaluation, inservice training for project staff, training for personnel from other programs or agencies, demonstration and dissemination activities, coordination with other agencies, and continuation and replication.
