Resident and Nonresident Undergraduate and Graduate Tuition and/or Required Fees, Public Universities, Colleges and State Universities, and Community Colleges. Report No. 80-5.
Johnson, Jackie M.
Data on tuition and/or required fees are presented on resident/nonresident and undergraduate/graduate students at U.S. public colleges and universities and community colleges. In addition to statistical tables, charts are provided that graphically illustrate the relative position of Washington averages in the undergraduate four-year institution charges. The first four tables display the tuition and fee charges to full-time resident and nonresident, undergraduate and graduate students at the major public doctoral university of each state. Additional tables and corresponding charts show patterns in the college and state university sector similar to those of the major public universities. While data on charges to graduate students has only been collected since 1977, data on undergraduate students for years since 1972 are included. Data are also provided for the following seven states that have traditionally been used for comparisons: California, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, and Wisconsin. Estimated state average charges to both resident and nonresident community college students for 1978-79 and 1979-80 are also presented. (SW)
