Litch, Sarah
Intended for teachers of junior and senior high school students, the document outlines a course on the prevention of mental retardation through education of future parents. Introductory matter suggests that the teacher take 15 classes to cover the material. Information on each lesson includes the following: objectives, a pretest to test the knowledge and attitudes of students before the lesson, background information for the teacher, an outline of the mini-lecture presentation for the students, classroom experience options, outside classroom experience options, an action checklist, a posttest, and selected references. Masters for dittos and transparancies and lists of community and state agencies, government agencies, audiovisuals, and directories are also given. (SBH)
