Summary information is provided about the school sites that participated in the National Education Association's three-year inservice education project. The process by which over 600 inservice education materials were identified and screened for inclusion in the project's resource base is described, and the development of a dissemination system to provide schools with information about available inservice products is outlined. Key project learnings about the role of the teacher in inservice education and the function of an inservice program planning committee are discussed.
