Evaluations of the three years of the Fond du Lac public school system experience-based career education (EBCE) project are described in this three-part report. The two major sections of each evaluation are assessments of the achievement of student outcome objectives and of process objectives based on data collected through the use of standardized tests of reading and math skills and attitudes toward work, school, career decision making, and sex role stereotyping; Appalachian Education Laboratory (AEL) instruments for EBCE; other instruments; and interviews. Specific objectives are used as the headings for evaluation results and data analysis. The student outcome objectives are academic achievement; acquisition of career knowledge and maturity; development of positive attitudes toward learning environments, themselves, others, and work; less sex role stereotyping; and job satisfaction of program graduates. The process objectives are utilization of EBCE management by objectives, development of a public information mechanism, use of AEL concepts and objectives and interdisciplinary activity sheets to document student progress, development of individualized student programs, use of student career guides, personnel training, student placement, and confrontation and dealing with sex role stereotyping. Tables for statistical analysis, followup of graduates' attitudes, item analysis of dissemination workshops, and instruments are appended. (YLB)
