Scientific Freedom and Responsibility.
Edsall, John T.
This set of papers contains an examination of the issues that are increasingly confronting society as science and technology enter the social and ethical realm of concern. The conditions which are necessary for scientists and engineers to voice concerns to the general public are suggested. An appeal is made to government agencies, industrial organizations, and professional societies, to construct mechanisms for resolving disputes. (Author/SA)
