The analysis included one episode of each prime time and Saturday morning dramatic series, comprising 77 programs and 58 hours of television viewing. A concurrent survey among 300 fourth, sixth, and eighth grade children identified the series viewed by 40 percent or more of these children. Substance use and sexual behavior are defined as they relate to this study and findings are discussed. A 23-item bibliography is attached. (RAO)
