The dramatic performance and writing activities in this guide are applicable to all grade levels and content areas. Methods are suggested for selecting material for oral interpretation and dramatics, and specific student activities are listed in the following areas: monologue, dialogue, and conversation; oral reading of prose, poetry, and drama, and storytelling; professional theatre, amateur productions, television, and film; videotaping, tape recording, and recordings; classroom productions; theatre games, charades, and pantomimes; radio plays; improvisation; role-playing; and imaging.
