A Normed Evaluation Form for Assessing Educational Inservice Programs.

A review of evaluation forms designed to measure the effectiveness of teacher inservice workshops reveals the absence of a standardized, norm-referenced measurement instrument. The State of Texas Education Service Center (Region 20) has developed an instrument to meet the necessary research criteria. Applicability, ease of administration, and relevance to significant data are the research concerns tabulated by the instrument, and a normative standard of the comparative analysis of inservice training programs is established. Data tables, references, sample forms, and sample workshop evaluation reports constitute a large amount of the document. (LH)
