Measuring Beginning Teacher Satisfaction With Pre-Professional Training.

A questionnaire designed to ascertain measures of teachers' satisfaction with their preprofessional training is described. The Teacher Education Program Evaluation (TEPE), developed for this purpose, is in the process of being refined. The validity of this instrument is discussed, and its reliability is evaluated. The results of a comparison study using this instrument are examined. A sample of original TEPE questions is included with this report. (JD)
