The Custody Handbook.
Woolley, Persia
This guide presents information for divorcing parents on how to design the child-custody arrangement best suited for their own family. A step-by-step program is delineated that shows parents how to decide how to share, how to deal with judges and lawyers once they have decided to share, and how to make equitable financial arrangements. Numerous child custody arrangements are described ranging from moving children from household to household to having the children remain in one home while parents move in and out. The court system and its prevailing attitudes toward child custody are discussed and suggestions for coping with the system are offered. Also included are checklists, sample forms for financial organization, sample custody paragraphs for inclusion in legal documents, guidelines, and clear and precise descriptions of arrangements which divorcing couples have found to work well for them.
