The Emergency Building Temperature Restrictions Regulations, effective July 16, 1979, place temporary restrictions on temperatures for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water in commercial, industrial, government, and other nonresidential buildings. This manual contains instructions for determining if the regulations apply to a building, complying with the regulations, and adjusting air and water temperatures.
