The Development of a Resource Identification Instrument. Final Report.
Evaluative Research Associates, Inc., St. Louis Mo.
As part of the development of a statewide system for retrieving, coordinating, and disseminating resource information within the state of Illinois, a methodology was developed to determine the resources available in each of the existing resource units in the state. The Resource Identification Survey (RIS) was developed to meet this need. A total of seven drafts of the RIS were prepared. In addition to the RIS, two other products were completed as a result of this project--a survey card to be used in collecting data for potential resource units, and the RIS Administrative Manual. (The various RIS drafts are described and appended, as is the final seven-page version of the RIS). (GDC)
