Research on the Use of Educational Products: (4) Marketing Research: At What Prices?

The production and distribution of educational materials developed by researchers is considered. The current practice of turning over federally or foundation funded products to commercial producers raises the question of pricing policies of these firms as compared to the policies of nonprofit development agencies. Comparative costs of producing and marketing these educational materials are outlined, and the data are analyzed. (JD)
