This module seeks to develop teachers' awareness and understanding of the environmental problem area of energy conservation and resource utilization. It seeks to enhance teachers' understanding of the stewardship approach to resources and the role of the natural system in resource use. Skills in assessing and comparing various energy conservation measures and the application of energy conservation criteria to individual lifestyle decisions are discussed. It also seeks to facilitate teacher development of classroom instructional materials in the utilization of energy conservation resources. (Author/RE)
