This module seeks to develop teachers' awareness and understanding of the problems of energy-intensive urban growth and its impact on quality-of-life. It seeks to develop understanding of the city as a system; understanding of quality-of-life as applied to the urban ecosystem; and skills in studying and planning for quality urban settings.
