Contained is a documentary of a comprehensive curricular/career model program at Mills College designed to help women enter scientific and technical fields. A series of vignettes illustrating key aspects of the program philosophy and methods is presented. Various viewpoints and experiences are related by women of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, levels of math preparation, and career aspirations in order to demonstrate that women can be motivated to enter nontraditional fields.
