School Improvement Processes and External Agency Roles.
This paper discusses the improvement process used in schools to bring about change, as well as the influence of external agencies on improvement activity. It considers school district processes as they relate to improvement activity, the strategies and roles performed by external agencies, and the issues that might effect planning by an external agency. Questions that external agencies should consider in regard to support and influence of a school district provide a basis for drawing the paper together. (Author/LD)
