This annotated bibliography was developed to provide high school and college teachers in consumer economics a reference to teaching materials and aids on personal finance. The content is presented in five sections, as follow: (1) reference materials for teachers (includes eighteen entries of general reference materials; thirteen college and high school student texts; and three magazines, newspapers, and consumer guides); (2) printed materials for students (includes fifty-five entries); (3) visual aids (includes forty-six entries of films, forty-one filmstrips, three slide/tape series, and two posters and work charts); (4) games and simulations (includes twenty-two entries); and (5) evaluation measures and programmed instruction (includes eight entries). The entries, arranged alphabetically in each section by author or title, include some or all of the following: author, title, publisher, publication date, cost, grade level, source, length, and annotation.
