The third suggests some practical steps for implementing parent education in a way that will encourage local initiative. The fourth discusses organizational problems in institutionalizing parent education in the public schools. The fifth concentrates on four key questions that crop up in discussions of parent education and suggests how communities can begin to move at the local level. The sixth presents a number of criteria for successful parent education on the local level. The seventh examines the role of the public school in the parent's education.
