This pamphlet, through questions and answers, provides information on the requirements of the Education for All Handicapped Children Act, referred to as P.L. 94-142. States receiving funds under this legislation must follow specific procedures for providing handicapped children a "free appropriate public education in the most appropriate least restrictive environment." The purpose of this pamphlet is to acquaint the reader with federal requirements only.
