Student Affairs Management in a Small College.
Culver, Dick
Management theory can be applied to small colleges. This paper deals with the unique characteristics of a small college and reviews the basic elements of a modern management system. The development of the program at the Colorado School of Mines is used as a case history to illustrate how management principles can be adopted to a small college. A distinction is made between the operation of a formalized management system and its development. (Author/LFB)
