Applications of Videodisc Technology to Individualized Instruction.

Several general considerations and characteristics are described and illustrated for the application of videodisc technology to individualized instruction: (1) a prototype of a videodisc unit, (2) digital read-only memory, (3) cost economics, (4) educational uses, (5) development versus delivery systems, and (6) prerequisites for successful videodisc terminals. A bibliography of descriptive material on videodisc technology is included. (CMV)
